This is Milkshake the only boy.
This photo tells his whole personality. He is sweet and calm...way less a fighter than the girls are. Gives reserved little kisses and will lay in your hand and just look at you quietly.
Each one of these babys is adorable in looks and personality..

PUPPYS GROWING FAST

The time has flown so fast since all these guys were born.

Now tiny little mouse was 1 lb 6 ounces when he got his first shots last Tuesday at 6 1/2 weeks.From 1.9 ounces.!! almost unbelievable to see how he has grown and cute too!!!

The rest were bigger but not a lot 1 lb 8, 1 lb 9 and 2lbs.

Now (alias) Tazzys babys are all gone but one and she ( Ebony ) goes next Saturday. (Photo of Ebony sleeping and her sister and brother Forte and Stunning. Forte and Stunning were buddys the whole time .Sorry to sell them apart but to great homes anyway.

Stunning was the one born like 12 or 14 hours later . after the rest.

2 of this litter this time were fuzzy and probably wont shed. 3 had erect ears..usually one has erect and one is usually fuzzy.

Well guess I need a better photo of Ebony and one of Mouse too. Look on the next entry

Loveys are all still home here and just turned 6 weeks Friday. Candy will go Nov 7th.to her noew MOM.

LOTS of NEW PUPPYS!

More new puppys were born August 21, Aug 22 the same litter...and more from LOVEY August 28th 2009.

The first brith ...Tazzys litter went like this....

August 21 Tazzy went in labor ...early...it was Friday and she was due on Tuesday. Other 2 time she as just on time.

Luckily I noticed her going from place to place looking for a nest. Then her water broke and no puppy came...unusual for her.

I took her to the vet. They took and xray and gave her a shot.

Puppys started coming 1/2 hours later..2 at once!...too tiny...one was alive and squirming and one was still born.

Then another came tiny and still born.I was sad!!

Then a 4th...normal size... but didnt breath at first so i wiped her and rubbed her chest and back gingerly and soon she was breathing.

The vet then sent me home saying that was it 4 like the xray said.......2 live puppys.

A tiny premie looking guy and a big girl that still wasnt breathing as well as i thought she should.

That was it the vet said... even though I noticed Tazzys tummy looked full still but the vet was sure.Shes done.

Got home and 5 minutes later another puppy came!Yeah that was all....

Normal size..that made 3 live puppys 2 boys, a big and a little... and a girl.

It was 4 pm.

Evening went by all were doing well. That night i checked on the puppys ever half hour to hour to make sure Tazzy didnt lay on them especially the tiny one as he was as big as a mouse i counted them each time I got up 3...3...3...

6;30 am i got up and there were....4..... puppys!!

During the early morning hours ...12 hours or more after the others another puppy was born..alive and well...normal sized.

Tazzy had 6 altogether.

So much for vets and their xrays.

I weighed them the first night .The tiny guy was 1.9 ounces.The others were 4.2 and 4.1 ounces.Normal for Tazzys newborns.

So that made 3 puppys born August 21st and one born August 22,2009

STRANGEST of all the deliveries so far.

The tiny one I named MOUSE.

He was as big as a mouse and his little legs were as big around as a toothpick the first few days.

Now 3 weeks later he is chubby and getting harder all the time to tell he was a mini premie puppy.Looking closer and closer to the others size.

Such a miracle. He always has been a little fighter and even so mini he acted like the rest like he thought he WAS the same

The girl born the second day i call STUNNING as it WAS "stunning" to see a 4th puppy that morning when I got up.

I literally rubbed my eyes a few times and finally picked her up to make sure i wasnt dreaming .

Yes she was a girl and I know I had only one girl a black one and this one was sable...I wasnt loosing my mind after all!!

Photos above are of Mouse with the other pups the first few days. Very skinny and premie looking.

My question is this...was Mouse and the other 2 small ones concieved later the fertile week or 10 days Tazzy could conceive?

Therefore were they truly premies?NOt done...

Or did they just not grow to full size because of tight quarters inside Tazzy?

MOuses eyes did open the same time others did..if that means anything about his maturity or does the eye glue come off after 10-14 days no matter what?

So many questions!

Forgot to mention in Sweet P's photo you can see a tiny one of his 5 spots in this photo. Very light red-tan on his back
Also even paler light red tan on the side of his head and top but you barely can see that in real life.Dont know if they will darken more or what.
He always looks pure white in the photos.

Ann saved himfrom the gas chamber and now he is their only boy puppy.

The aging ladys in the house Nellie and Josie arent too crazy about him beings hes a boy AND a teenager too.

His favorite toys are flip flops Neil laments and he doesnt discrimate whos or what style....All chew up well.

Well boys will be BOYS!

ASIDE HERE--Good thing about Chihuahuas is their mouths are so tiny and weak they get shoe laces wet and thats about the only damage they can do...well except to a book..... they can knaw the corners to being nice and round (hope the library didnt notice!

Now I am attempting to put one of Baxters photos up from a file of them. Hope it works...Lets see...)

Sweet P is getting to act just like a real dog.8 weeks today.

Him....4 inches long and 2 1/2 wide when prancing.He DOES prance just like B does !.

Great head so might be show material. Runs in the family

Nose could be longer, hard to tell yet... will have to see. Mini is a deer head than a snub nose.

Sweet P's Dads full brother, a B look alike, recently won his championship in the show ring. Tuffy.See him On Halo Chihuahua's webesite in her "Boys" section.

Exciting for me as makes me more sure B could too if I ever got off my duff and got him out there.

Also poor Tazzy will have more puppys August 22. Chillys the Dad as usual.

After this litter she will be spayed. They are so very cute but thats enough litters for her.

At least i know just what they will look like after 2 other litters and same sire

This will be the last litters until next spring possibly or longer

except Don wants Betha to be inseminated since Tank hasnt done anything yet himself.

Have to get a price on that today. She will come in heat in Sept .

That would be mid-end Oct babys...OH...then new homes close to Xmas

The girl stray Shepard sih dog we have had for almost 3 weeks now went to Debbie Munson yesterday. Debbie has 80 acres and a fenced yard plus 2 other smaller dogs and 2 chickens....She'll do great with Debbie and i think Debbie will love her a lot in short order.

Only cog is its possible she is pregnant.

Debbie had me look yesterday and she is very thin still but had a small lump in her belly area.

Could have been food she took from some other home out here early morning running with Lucy . Too early to tell.

Debbie will take her to the vet to find out this week.

Sort of Sad Don said Lucy was looking for her last night.Lucy hasnt had an outside running buddy in a long time.

Debbie will give her a great home. I was getting attached without trying. What a great easy dog to have! Calm, sweet, friendly ,leash trained...quiet in the car and good in the kennel on the ride.

I WISH i could keep her Oh well.

Where i am sitting taking this are more cottage type doors across the whole wall looking out onto the path to come in lined with perennials of different kinds with the vinyard across the road from this. VERY Pretty place.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY( late)

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY ...one day late. Went to Jennahs wedding

at Chaumette Winery last night. REALLY nice.That winery is so scenic...gorgeous!!

In fact the trip out is so nice and last night even better all the rolling hills so green and blue with the clusters of winerys and grape arbors, cows in pastures the whole way I had a hard time keeping my eyes on the road.

FOOD was fantastic.

Weather humid and hot.

Rained all day then sun came out to really steam it up!!

The wedding was in the grape arbor. Grapes hung on ther vines right next to us. Reception was nice and air conditioned. YEAH!!

About 8pm the air became very nice outside and most people were on the deck ..some dancing.

They tried to do sparklers while the wedding couple danced but that was a disaster waiting to happen as the deck was packed with people and the sparklers of those who were brave enough to light them were sparking off chunks of ash onto peoples clothes.

Needless to say only a few lit them. Shame..it would have been pretty if there was more room out there.

I left before the sun got too low and morestorms came in.Predicted.

Best part was it was only 35 minutes away .Most things are at least an hour from me.

After Went to Dairy Queen and then watched the last of the fireworks in town with Don who had nothing to do last night, then home eventually to bed.

I also discoved the whole wedding I still had the tube top on that I had put on at home before i got dressed in my party dress!!

Didnt mean that to happen.

It was in a big donutroll below my chest when I got undressed...dont know when it rolled up like that but i bet I looked really cute with what looked like one more roll of fat across my back!!!

Happy July 4th 2009!!

Sweet P is 3 weeks old tomorrow.He is a sweet P too!!

BABYS NICK NAME

As I usually do with my dogs...I already have started nick naming the new puppy........Sweet P. (for Pico)

Justine said his eyes are opening today. He'll be 2 weeks old tomorrow(is THAT ALL the time that has gone by?)

His face reminds me of B's wide smily mouth.

His color is starting to come into his nose now and lips.He isnt albino after all!!! HURRAH!!

(Not that being Albino is a BAD thing,mind you LOL)

B is courting WOOWOO now but she is such a whiner about everything that everytime he looks at her she yipes her high pitched yipe.

Not only is B frustrated...but my eardrums are breaking from such high decibels off and on all day!

Doubt if there will be any puppys from whiny girl.shes scaring him off!! I am so curious as to what they will look like too!!

If Mini (black spotted on white) had a white with chocolate girl with B (black spotted on white) and a white boy, then I KNOW WOOWOO who is white with RED spots...can for SURE have chocolate and white. !!!

Nanas boys are doing fine althohg Teddys one eye STILL hasnt opened. it cracked last week and Isaw a pupil so I know its all formed but still not open yet.need meds from vet to see if I t will help.

They have some CUTE faces those pups Tiny short noses and wide faces..round little heads like B and soft fur

A baby bunnys fur would be hard to compare to how soft Teddy is and Rocky is almost as soft.

He is going to be hard to sell later..I already feel guilty!!!

ROCKY

This is Rocky, Nalas second puppy.

YES he IS this fat...almost square!!! He weighs one lb!!!

Here is Teddy one of the 2 week old Chi -Yorkie puppys..well 17 day old actually. He weighs nearly 1 lb!!

REALLY FAT!! VERY BUNNY SOFT...So kissable.

Unbelieveably he started out 4.1 ounces

Eyes are starting to open now.. If he could only get that big belly off the ground and walk..maybe he wouldnt be so sleepy!!

He stayed 2 days in the same tree just moved around from branch to branch.

He was actually on a branch aout 4 feet off the ground most of the time...plently close to see or touch him.

No nest in here he must like bugs!

But guess you wonder who the Mastiffs are...well that is my ONE not so tiny dog...Betha.. the fawn girl in the photo.

Her best friend is Tank with her....who belongs to Don, my son.

I didnt tell you yet....I have 7 dogs.

Well 8 if you count old Lucy who has to stay in a pen a lot as shes the devil dog incarnate and wreaks havock in the neighborhood when shes out longer than 24 hours asand trys to bite the trash man if she happens to be out running the woods Monday morning.

My pets Mastiff, Yorkie, Chihuahua-Yorkie and 4 Chihuahuas part Lab and dont forget Babbycake my one old dog tolerant cat.

Oh and the 2 caged Doves....

Actually I feel like you cant count a Chihuahua as ONE dog..they are more like 1/3 of a dog so 3 make one actual sized dog....so i really have maybe 5 1/3rd dogs

I live in the country on 8 1/2 acres with cows for neighbors so a big dog is a good idea.

Little ones are always just for fun and mousing too. Yorkies are better than cats at mousing.!!!

Betha fits the bill for a yard dog...weighing in at about 165 lbs.

Tank shares the yard with her and he is even bigger.

More neighbors....I will put up a photo of also of my little frien' I had visit last Saturday evening

Living in the country gets pretty interesting pretty often when it comes to animals.

You wake up never knowing what you will see that day..

Besides the photo of my green frien'also last week i had a peacock come across the yard up to my sons door...acted like he wanted in!!

Betha was pretty confused at seeing him, he was confused too.

Largest bird Betha ever saw...oh except for the Emu that somehow got in the cow pasture across the road from me... a year or so ago.

THAT was most assuredly THE biggest bird and fastest we both ever saw!! where he came from or when I never found out.

first day of blogging...
I see the world I guess can come see my blog... so I think I need to mention i want any one especially dog lovers to come to my blog to see my dog or puppy photos (if I can get some up) read what I have to say about whats going on here...but I want this a positive place.

PLEASE dont leave comments about bringing more dogs into the world etc etc...I see these comments all ove the internet and true in some cases when its all done wrong but please, No negativity and soapboxing to me.!!!

I know the song and dance already...I dont need a lecture...

All my puppys are found GOOD FOREVER homes with the stipulation they come back to me if the new puppy parent cant take care of them someday
I feel safe saying i have kept in contact with all of them and none are unhappy with their puppys and all cant live without them it seems.

Ok that said....onward and upward!!!

Just trying to be"current" and its tough keeping up today!

Ok about me...I am 64...I'm young if you are 85 and old if you are 10.

I Live alone with my dogs but have my son Don in and out daily and grand daughter Justine 10 in and out asking me to help interperating her erupting preteen social life so not really alone..
All the rest, children and grand children dont live near me.

My daily life the tiny dogs that are a sea of movement and barking in my otherwise silent home. never a dull moment

For instance take this morning.

Tazzy my 6 year old chi-yorkie who has had 2 litters in a row has been busy ever since Chilly her main man moved in across the yard 2 yeasrs ago.
. He is her "backyard man" who sneaks in here before I can grab her and does the deed. AND here comes another litter!.
Fortunately I can finds great homes with people who really love them each time ....so far!

This morning was same as all of them are..... Taz and Mimi out the door at wake up usually 6;30am.... I'm a little late today .... almost 7...(shes in heat again by the way), i get the dog bowls to fill with breakfast.... go to let her in...
WHAM!!!
Already Chilly is at it....hooked again ...3rd litter in arow.!

I feel so bad after trying to keep this from happening the last 2 times but Chilly is small, silent and fast and Tazzy is more than a little willing.hussy ..so puppys in 64 days.... again!!!

I feel like a puppy mill with this happening!!I want to do all this so right.

Actually WOOWOO the last of my AKC Chi's(by the way 4 of my dogs are AKC Chihuahuas) to come in heat is the one i want mated up to B( tiny Black Jack) my 3 1/2 lb only boy to get pups in 64 days. but now Tazzy again.

Just had my last onslaught of pups 2 pups.... 2 weeks ago and one 6 days ago.
NANA , Tazzys daughter Dons dog...with B...2 cute fat boys 2 weeks ago. Look like tiny teddy bears.so fat.

And Mini my first great AKC mating I have waited for with B.... 2 pups one died before the c section, a white guy and a white and hershey chocolate girl .The girl died. I had bad Karma for 2 weeks and loast one from nanas litter after a few hours the nlost Minis girl i nthe c section...hope thats all over and Karma is rising...!!!

Anyway now i Need a name for the white guy. A cutey too. (Arent they all!!!)



My life with DOGs is my life at this point .

Why? They love you no questions asked. i dont have to be anyone but me.. I like that. and they make me laugh every day and are warm to cuddle with.
Thats good enough in this life.
